Swollen ankle in walking boot?!

Question: After 7 weeks of crutches, I'm finally in a walking boot. It doesn't hurt too much when I walk, just occassionally. When I take off my boot my ankle looks very swollen. I would be worried but it doesn't hurt. Is this normal?

Your boot maybe on too tight....If that's not the case then, its swelling from your injury. It can swell without necessarily having pain. Ice it down.
