Is it possible to make a varicose vein stay small if you catch it early?!
Question: I've just started getting a varicose vein on my right lower leg. It's frustrating b/c I'm only 25 and I still want to be able to look cute in shorts and stuff. Yeah, superficial I know! But anways, I bought a pair of support hose and I've got a physical in a few weeks. I just want to know if anyone has had success on them not getting worse by starting early? Right now it just looks like a bruise but in the morning it's bulged out more. I try to keep my feet elevated now...don't cross my legs if I can help it and don't sit on them. I wear the support hose at work. I used to sit on my legs all the time and my mom and grandma have them, so I'm sure both of those factors have contributed to it. Also, will a doctor do procedures to remove them if they're still small??
Thanks!!
