Fractured Ankle? How soon can i play ball?!

Question: Ok so i fractured my ankle on March 12th and got a cast put on March 14th due to issues getting an appointment. I am goin this Friday, April 11th, to see if i can get the cast off. I should be going straight into a walking cast which brings me to my first question.....Is there any way i would be able to skip going into a walking cast??

Next , how long would it take ,after having a walking cast , for me to be allowed to start playing sports?

You see my coach for school baseball is saving a spot for me on the team. I should start but i probably wont the first couple games. There are 6 games in April and 8 games in May if there are no games postponed. I am hoping i will be fine to play all 8 of the games in May.
Do you think that this is a very goood possibility that i could play the enitre month of May?? and maybe even some of April

Set your sights on may. Fractures take around 6 weeks to heal.

You will have to get back in gradually so I would even sit on the bench/dug out (or whatever you guys call it) and maybe sub for little while and build up time.

Don't push it though - go back too quick and you could be out for good.
