What did the pioneers use to treat scorpion stings while on the journey Westward!


Question: I have a 100 word paper to write, see because in class we have groups and i'm some farmer on the oregon trail, and I was stung by a stung by a scorpion so what would i use and why?

Probably some kind of potion made from herbs or could have been just plain tobacco juice. In fact, some people still use tobacco juice for stings. Urine could also work as it has ammonia in it. Onions could have been one thing they rubbed on the sting. It still works.

Maybe look up some home remdeys or somthing or maybe some herb also a key factor is what suplies you have on you and if their is a dr. also it may sound funny but
