If I've sprained my finger and i have bandage on it how can i have a shower?!

today in school i sprained my fiinger and i wanna have a shower tonight. So what what will happen is i get my bandage wet?? will it get ruined?? plus i want to wash my hair. is there a easy way of doing that too??

Put the bandaged hand in a food storage bag and tape it closed around your wrist. Just be careful with it and take your shower. Wash your hair with your good hand. I wash mine with 1 hand every day. You can do it. Wet hair, run the shampoo through it with your hand. Add a bit of water and keep working the shampoo. After you get it clean, rinse it out.
If it is a sprain I would suggest just replacing the bandage after the shower. I always took the splints off my fingers to take a shower when I jammed my fingers. (Used to jam them a lot playing basketball.)
Wrapping it securely is the best thing I could think of. If you are in an ace bandage, you could simply take it off, though depending on how bad the sprain is, it might not be such a good idea. You could also wrap your finger/hand tightly with saran wrap or a grocery bag and tape it.
