Why are my boobs so sore?!
Question: My boobs are really sore around the nipple. I thought I might have been preggo, cause I had some mild nausea, cramping,headaches, and frequent urination. I have been taking hpt's for 3 weeks, and I had a blood test done last Thursday, which were all negative, so i'm pretty sure im not pregnant, and Im on depo vera and do not get periods, so I know it's not from my period coming on. I dont think it's from caffeine, i drink caffeine everyday, and have been for the past 10 years and never got sore breasts as a result! Has anyone had this happen to them? What else could it be? Any help is much appreciated!! Thanks

I went through this about 5 years ago. I took the depo for that long as well. My doctor told me its healthy for a women to have a period each month because its our way of getting out all the bad stuff we took in. If u don't have a period then u need to make sure u take the proper test every 2 years to make sure everything is OK. I think u are having side effects from the depo. U probably will have them every month during the time your period will normally come on. (If you wasn't on the depo of course) I know its weird but yes it is coming from your period not coming on. don't really know.but try some advil and put a heating pad on your breast's it may help.
some hormones that prevent periods do so because they mimic pregnancy. I don't know but that would kinda make all your symptoms make sense. Just a thought.
I was on depo shots years ago, one warning watch for the weight gain, I went through the same symptoms i would normally get every month with my period except I didn't get my period and that pound or two of water weight would not go away and I blew up, when I got off of it i got my period for a week straight every other week for months, it sucked but I did lose the water weight
maybe it's your body going through hightened pms since you don't get your period anymore your body is changing,

maybe its a hormone imbalance from not having your period at all.
