What is the minimum heart beat of a fit athlete?!

Question: Some indians can stop their heart for long periods - and then even be burried underground. When they dig them back up though, to the utter amazement of the audience, they are usually stone dead! No-one knows how they do it, some say it could be a trick with mirrors. My own heart is 49 per minnie....but I could be officially demised.

This varies with age, as the 'maximum heart beat' slowly decreases with age.

It also depends on what sport, as some sports like soccer require a lot of stamina over a longer period, where as other sports require quick, short bursts of stamina.

For someone in their 20s or so, most athletes can operate with a heart beat of over 180.

50 at rest

Usually it is 90 to 100 for a normal man but if he is an athelete with lot of stamina, it drops to 60.It means if he start running, he wont get tired till his heart beat reaches to 90 or 100 from 60.
