Please get on antibiotics!! I'm over 40 and have had lots of ear infections in my life. When my current doctor took her first look in my ears, she exclaimed "Goodness, you have a lot of scarring!"
Yup, you can get scars in your ears if you don't get them treated soon enough. I used to sometimes try to "tough it out" or take herbs to help me get over it. No, no, no. Now I keep prescription strength antibiotics, Gimaclav, a generic amoxicillin from Mexico, on hand at the house for when I feel an infection coming on.

You should be seeing an Ear Doctor, the Ear Infection will clear up with an Antibiotic, or go to see a place for Urgent care in your area, Once you have an antibiotic you will be able to get your sleep.Take good care of your ears, you will need them in order to hear well.
Get in to the doctor today. The pain will only be worse tonight, that's when ear infections hurt their worst. an ear infection will not go away w/o antibiotics and you're going to have to see a doctor eventually. May as well do it before you lose one more night's sleep. If you can't get an appt today you must have a walk-in urgent care clinic. What are you waiting for, get your shoes on and go :).

When you have an ear-infection & you are always aware it, pl see an ENT doctor so that your mind is not distracted in sleep.

Apply some ear lotion on ur infected area.
