I'm almost always really cold, especially my hands and feet...?!

Question: i don't know why, i wear loads of clothes and get enough exercise. but it still takes me ages to get to sleep at night because my feet are so cold, even with the electric blanket on full blast! I'm embarrassed shaking hands with people because my hands are so cold... and they always pass a comment! any suggestions?!!

My OH complains that I "must be dead" sometimes because my hands and feet are so cold. Then again, I am sticking my feet on his bum at the time to warm them up...

Have a look at this site, it gives some info regarding cold "extremities". I find I get colder when I'm stressed but there are things you can do to help improve blood flow.

I have the same problem....It could be a deficiency in magnesium or Iron...maybe bad blood circulation?

Sounds like bad circulation - wear gloves!

you could have too little fat on your body, when i was underweight i was always cold

my hand still tend to be still quite cold, but it doesn't bother me, it bothers me when they get hot and sweaty

Could be poor circulation or something called Raynauds, I think thats how its spelt.
Nothing too serious so dont panic, my feet are always freezing, just like they are now.

My mum has cold feet, just before she gets into bed at night she puts hot water in the bath and "paddles" her feet, then dries her feet and puts bedsocks on. This usually keeps her feet pretty warm when she gets into bed. This may work for you also.

as the saying goes cold hands warm fart.. opps sorry heart haha

My feet and hands are always cold at night when I get in bed but the rest of me is warm so I think it is bad circulation in those areas. I am not sure if anything can be done about that or not.
