Sore throat = strained muscle?!

Question: I started developing Strep Throat on Saturday, March 29. Sunday morning I was feeling very nauseous so I forced myself to throw up just so I could sleep. My throat was sore, but I just figured it was the Strep.

I got antibiotics on Monday the 31st and have finished my prescription. It is now Tuesday the 8th and my throat is still sore... but not scratchy, almost like I strained a muscle in my throat. The white spots/Strep is gone but it still kind of hurts to swallow.

Could I have strained a muscle in my throat from throwing up? If so, how long would it take to feel normal again if that happened 9 days ago?

Hi, just to let you know I am on my 3rd antibiotic for a strep throat, i got a really bad strep throat about a month ago, and it wont go away, i did buy a product in a health shop called throat coat which has helped great in the last 2 days, it has natural ingredients, maybe you need to go back to the doctor and get another antibiotic, hope this helps!

usually it takes from 7 to 10 days try to take honey every morining and evening it would help if u were smoker the infection is resistant and the mucous make it stagnat
