Not knowing the specifics of your case, I can only give you some basic advice, but I had a similar problem a year or two ago, though I was never gutsy enough to take more than 3 pills a night. All other things being equal, gradually phase yourself off of the pills; start by taking 1/2 or 1 pill less one night...wait a couple nights then reduce it by the same amount. If you're up to almost 10 a night (which is physically VERY BAD FOR YOU), you're probably not going to be able to quit cold turkey, so doing it gradually is key.

Another important thing to remember is that sleeplessness is often a sign of a bigger problem. In my case it was stress; if you're stressing about something that you've done, or haven't done, it's going to be hard to turn your brain off until it's resolved.

Some basic tips for better/easier sleep can be found at: http://www.soyouwanna.com/site/syws/inso... The tips there can be VERY helpful.

First of all......you should consult with your doctor. You are taking way too much Tylenol and large doses of Tylenol over a period of time can damage your liver. Also.....the medication sometimes has bad or serious interactions of other medications you may be taking. The "PM" part of the Tylenol is simply, benedryl. You seriously need to discuss weaning you off of the Tylenol PM with your doctor and see if a less dangerous sleep aid can be prescribed to you to try. While you take any sleep aid you shouldn't drive a car because of the side effects.

go to a doctor, asap... you need real help asap
