Can I still become a nurse, if I get painful back spams when I bend over?!
Question: I was a nurses aide and I LOVE nursing so I went to university. I had my baby and with the emergency c-section, they gave me an epidural.
I want to branch my studies into nursing, but I am worried about the side affects from the epidural. My back spams and locks in place when I bend over. Also my knees get sore and stiff. Shoveling heavy snow for an hour puts my knees in discomfort for days.
I can still walk long distances and I life my kids no problem and I want to go into nursing.
Do you think I should go for it or is the nerve damage to far reaching to become a LPN or RN?
(my son is 9 months old so I assume my back and legs will bother me for my whole, life). But I can still walk and lift.

Nursing is a demanding career (go for it)!!!
Go to a chiropractor to help adjust ur back spasms, take multi-vitamin (for women)
Not all nurses stand on there feet all day, some fields are different (ie school nurse)
