Does healthy eating and regular exercise interrupt your sleep pattern?!
Question: Since I've been eating right and exercising, I've found myself waking up and wide awake after only about 6 hours of sleep. The problem is later on in the afternoon I get sleepy. I don't take naps though, because I hope I can sleep better that night, then bam! 6 hours later I'm wide awake again. What gives.

any change in your lifestyle will change your regular body clock for a while, it willtake a little time, but it will get into a new routine
just keep perservering and take some camomile or valerian before bed
maybe just accept your new start to the day, its not so bad, although i couldnt immagine it evey day myself, im NOT morning person
also dont go to bed too early, as you will awaken early too
also even being too tired can caus sleep problems, i have that issue, when im so tired maybe i was tired and didnt nap, it cant sleep when it comes to bed time, no matter how tired i am
so if your body wants to sleep for a nap, resonantly badly, let it rest
just not all thetime
Make sure your "eating right" does not involve eating too little. That will certainly keep you up at night!
Also, vigorous exercise near bedtime can keep you up as well - so try to do it earlier in the day.
A third possibility is that your sleep trouble is related to some other issue in your life... does a breakup or some other event have you down? Both your new lifestyle and sleeplessness might be related to some third factor.
Hope that helps!
