My friend has been bitten! HELP!?!
Question: During a walk we encountered an angry sand chicken sow protecting her eggs. We moved away but it followed and bit my friends on the calf muscle and on the shin after emerging from the shrubs.
We got to my house and my friend says she is feeling faint and dizzy and i want to know how to help prevent the Telrores virus from infecting. We have called the doctors and they are on their way but what can I do while we wait to prevent injury? My friends says I should apply pressure but how and where? HELP!
HOW DO I DEAL WITH A SAND CHICKEN BITE? What do i do? Do i keep the leg high? What? Help? Quick

Keep the leg elevated above her heart - have her lay down and prop the leg on something.
DON'T tie anything around her leg, that's bad advice!! She might lose the whole legs if you do that!!
If you have doctors or an ambulance on the way, call back and ask *them* what you should be doing.
whats a sand chicken? if the doctors are coming i wouldnt worry too much
Does your friend eat chicken? Because then this is a just crime.
Bullshit. Obviously if you had called the Doctors (why not the Ambulance?) then you would have been told what to do or you would still be on the phone getting instructions.
Liar.
with a clean cloth directly over wound firm but not hard pressure elevate leg deep breaths . good luck
No offense, but the last thing you should be doing after your friend was bitten by a... chicken, is go on Yahoo! Answers. We are not medical professionals.
