Dude, I have dealt with nurses and the medical community for years. Maybe what bothers them is that you are offering them a "little" prick. These nurses have seen it all and it seems to me that they would rather be offered a huge prick. Even if you have to lie, if they agree, once down "there" the level of desire on their part is past refusal and they will probably go ahead and "assist" you with this issue! They became nurses for a reason. Helping people is in their blood. Smile, be polite, and whip it out in all of it's glory!

it's the nurses job to give you your medicines. a shot is a bit hurting especially to people who have lower pain threshold. you have to understand that they are simply doing what is best for you.

LMFAO!!!! Your in the hospital sweetie just tell them it hurts down there and they'll feeli it all up for you... play it binky, play it!!!

Because their little prick is made of metal and your little prick is made of flesh and blood

Man you better be a talking to the doctor to see if you can get your little prick a little bigger

if you are comparing your little prick to the hypo needles little prick

OK, unless you are hospitalized in a 3rd world country or on another planet, I seriously doubt that the nurses are "slapping" you. If so, based on managed care, evidence based practice and the IOM 6 Aims, you have the right to file a complaint with the patient services office in the hospital.

Physically battering a patient is against the law and is never tolerated.

They obviously have no sense of humor and fail to appreciate the fact that you have not lost yours and that you sound as though you are feeling better. :)

HA. Very clever. If only that really happened to you, you would have a nice lawsuit. Good joke tho.

ROFL Poor, pooor Binky! Maybe the slap is their way of saying bring it on!! ~~Peace~~

You don't have a license to practice and they know they are already faced with a prick. Just sheer speculation. Could be wong. Or maybe, they just don't care for a "little" prick.

lmao. that's worse than when they wake you up for a sleepnig pill
