your finger is more then likely broken. if it is sprained, fractured ect. is swells up but if it is broken it usually doesn't swell. you should go to the doctor but they really won't be able to do much other then confirm if it is broken or not and give you a brace to put on your finger. but to be on the safe side i would go to the doctor to make sure that it is nothing more serious. wait and see how it feels in a few hours, and then go to the doctor or maybe call them to see what they say.
I say you should visit a doctor as soon as possible.
Has it started bruising?
If not, then it's most likely not broken. But the only way to know for sure is to get an xray done. Go see your doctor.
