Congestion that won't go away, any help?!
Question: Ok, first off, I have R.A. Now, I either have a cold, allergies, or it's one of my meds, but my head is so congested that I can't breathe! I've been like this off and on for about 1 week, with it getting really bad yesterday and today. I've taken DayQuil with no help. Any other suggestions?

If it is ONLY head congestion, it sounds like sinus and/or allergies. Take something like Tylenol Sinus (I use the generic version). I have had sinus and allergy problems all my life and the Tylenol Sinus is the best non-Rx stuff I have used.
Also, make sure you drink enough water. That helps thin the secretions out. If you feel the urge to blow your nose, do it. Don't hold it in. Make sure at night your head is elevated so everything can drain.
If it doesn't get better in a week or if what is coming out becomes green or very dark yellow, then go to the doctor.
could be a sinus infection. i had one for weeks. amoxicillin didn't even work. Z-Pak worked like a charm!
