Is passive smoking just as harmful as actually smoking?!
Question: They now believe that it is more harmful than smoking a cigarette with a filter tip as a lot of the smoke has not been filtered before the passive smoker breaths it in. Anyway whatever the truth is it is I think very bad manners to smoke when a non smoker is in the room.

No you don't inhale the same amount, so its not as bad.
It is still bad however as you will inhale a certain amount of it, and people who are exposed to passive smoking alot have a higher risk of getting lung cancer and other health problems.
No it's just cr@p put forward by the anti smoking gestapo. Unleaded petrol contains acetone, a known carcinogen, I don't hear anybody creating a fuss about that.

Yes I believe it is I know certain people who never smoked in their lives, but died from smoking related illnesses due to passive smoking.
Passive is the same has Chain smoking ,,one after another,,,everything in moderation,,,but this is over doing it,,,,,
Where have you been hiding, yes it is as bad. People who have never smoked but have lived and/or worked in smokey place like pub workers have smoking related illnesses because of it.

ime not a smoker but i know if i sit near someone that does i smell my advice dont stand with someone that smokes they have every right to smoke so just move away

If that was really true, then why don't these people just smoke? If you had to choose, would you rather smoke cigarettes, or breath in second hand smoke, which is rumored to be worse than smoking? According to that, people should more, correct? So why don't they?
I pretty sure it is. If children inhale cig. smoke passively that could make them have breathing problems later on down the road.
