usually eyesight will get a little worse, esp from wearing glasses. you've had them for quite a while. your doctor will just get ou a better Rx or something no worries it happens to a lot of people

See your doctor, he'll probably give you a new perscription and tell you to wear them 24/7 or give you contacts.

Your eyesight will get worse if you wear your glasses more because your eyes will become dependant on the glasses.

I used to have glasses, but my doctor said that if I wear them, my eyesight will get worse, so I figured that I didnt need them that badly.

yeah u need to wear ur glasses coz if u dont ur eyes will get more strained and ur gonna need higher powered lens..there are some ppl or organisations or wtv teaching u how to recover ur eyes,so if u manage to seek em out then u could learn how and then u wont need em..another way is,eat carrots 24/7 till when ppl see u they think bugs bunny..after a month ur eyes will improve(no joke,i actually knew someone who did this) and u should take care of eyes more(fyi they take up almost 25% of ur energy) by not straining them and keeping them moist(with some kinda eyedrops every once in a while) if u dont like glasses use contact lens..

glasses do make your eyesight worse. even if you wear them only for a short period of time, you're constantly looking at a certain distance away for that time. your eyesight gets worse if you focus on one distance for a long time, and that's exactly what your doing with glasses! good eyesight is when the muscle around your eyes are flexible, and able to adjust to different distances.

not wearing your glasses shouldn't increase your eyesight, but that shouldn't make them worse either. you can increase your eyesight by getting your eyes used to looking at objects at different distances. like, look at a nearby tree for a while, and then all of a sudden look at something further, like a building. doing this repeatedly makes your eye muscle more flexible, so it helps. you can also do magical eye, which basically does the same thing, but you look at a stereogrammed picture cross eyed, and the picture becomes 3D. train your eyesight by moving the pic closer and farther away to increase eyesight.

I'm not sure if it's the eyesight you should be worrying about.... maybe you should just learn how to spell

I would only wear them for a print you cannot read, or apparently like the blackboard you can't see. I agree that the more you wear your glasses, the worse you're eyes will get. I found that out to late. I had a catarac removed a couple years ago in my right eye, and I can see perfectly through it. The left eye has a small catarac building, and when I get it removed, I should be able to see pretty clear. However, I still need glasses to read the fine print. I found this exercise that helps you eyes. Take both of your hands, cover the eyes, and hold your fingers close together and make sure you can't see any daylight or light at all, keep your fingers against the sides of the nose tightly, the area below on the cheeks tightly, then once you can't see any light, keep your eyes open and stare into the darkness, behind your hands. Move the eyes from side to side, up and down, straight staring, for about five minutes. Open your hands and you should see better. Keep this up and it will strengthen your eyesight. Good luck yo uou sit.
