Cracked jaw?!

Question: Hey all, so today, I was sitting in class, and of course, I was just moving my mouth around like a fool because I had just got braces a week back and was feeling them. Anyway, I moved my jaw to one side and it cracked/popped on the left side. It didn't hurt at all, I was just kinda shocked. Now, about 5 hours later, I open my jaw up all the way and I hear a small little sound, like crunching or popping, coming from that area where it popped. Everything's fine. My teeth are fine, I ate my food with no problem, and I feel no pain...I can stiill hear that little crunchy sound though...should I be worried about anything or is this temporary? I read that everytime something pops, you have to wait for the gas to return to the joint....any ideas?

I'm sure its fine, the same thing happened to me a few weeks ago and my jaw is still firmly intact! it will go away in the next couple of days most likely, but you could go see your doctor if you really start poppin'!!!!
