Can spiders live in comforters?!

Question: I've been bitten by a spider 2 different nights in my sleep in the past week.. its been a real pain because I've been having bad allergic reactions to bites and have had to get steroid shots. My mom has cleaned my entire room and everything. The only thing that I can think of is that these spiders are living in my comforter? Is this even possible? Where else could they be? In my mattress?

Not only do they live in comforters, but science has shown that some insects actively seek them out!

Spiders and ear-wigs are known to bite small holes in bedding materials, enter, and lay eggs. They look for dark yet soft locations in nature. When those eggs hatch the thriving insect community starts to feed.

they could just crawl out of some hole in your floor or wall at night and bite you

yea if u dont squish them Wash ur Comforter!! they will die

You sure it's a spider? Could be a silverfish. Yes go to the laundrymat and wash that comforter. You should be doing that regularly anyway. As far as the matress spray it with some disinfectant, you can't wash it really. Unless you use a steam cleaner on it which is what I do. Use some non-chlorine bleach on the comforter. You should probably clean your pillows too.

yes, they can also lay eggs, if you like the comforter wash it in hot water to kill the spider eggs, it's kinda like bed bugs
