How can I feel better after a night's sleep?!

Question: Ok, well I usually wake up around 6 am for school. I get a good 9-10 hours of sleep a night. I sleep well. When I wake up, I feel exhausted. I just want to climb back into bed and sleep all day. I've tried exposing myself to light, tried stretching and excersising, tried getting up and walking, I've tried cutting out TV before bed, tried reading before bed, tried cutting out caffine.

What's the problem here? I really can't find a reason why I'm so tired in the morning. If there are some ways that you know to help me feel more rested in the morning, please help!

You could be getting too much sleep. You only need between 6 to 8 hrs. Try a warm turkey sandwich before you go to bed and don't think of anything stressful while you try to fall asleep. Cut out caffeine or you'll feel like you ran a marathon when you wake up.

Good luck.

You could be anemic or hypothyroid . Go for a physical and tell the doctor exactly what you have been experiencing and for how long. He will send you for blood work including CBC, TSH, as well as liver and kidney function panels.
