My boyfriend's hearing is getting really bad...?!

Question: He had several birth defects when he was born, for example two extra vertebrae in his spine and the lack of a complete spiral nerve in his left ear. His hearing in that ear has always been bad, and when he was a child he wore two hearing aids. Many years have passed and now the hearing in his left ear is terrible, and his right has suffered due to trying to overcompensate for the problem with the left. I am concerned that it is deteriorating fast. Without insurance, we will never be able to afford hearing aids for him, and I am wondering if there are any programs through social security or the like that can help with a disability such as this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

no medical insurance in this country means suicide...
save a bit here and a bit there, and get that insurance

good luck

get Health insurance. Things will run much smoother for y'all.

Check with an attorney about getting social security disability. Age is not a factor in getting this.

yes social security , go to their office and ask for an application for ssi bennifits. It is a long process but it will be worth it in the long run. just go see what they say it is worth a shot. good luck
