Why do smokers get more breaks than non smokers?!
Question: I think its unfair when somone incharge of you gives you in trouble for catching you siting down for 5 min when they as smokers take a break at least every hour for a cigerette its seems like double standards : ( Mabey us non smokers should pretend to smoke to get more breaks.lol

I worked in an EMS communications center and after a hectic period my partner took a smoke break. When she got back I went to the same place she had been smoking with one of our supervisors. I was confronted by that supervisor saying that I had no reason to be outside.
I wrote up my supervisor because I was able to show that she would smoke with people and would even invite people to smoke with her, taking them away from their dispatch console. I have to say that most of the smokers backed up my claim.
Because life is a b*tch. Do like i do, when the group goes out for a smoke, get up and join them. It tends to work well here.
Im a smoker and always had to wait 4 hours for a break....
they get them because they take them....
if you want to take a smoke break, and your company is ok with smokers,then take it... you don't have to smoke....
