What will stop the bleeding of a vein in your ankle?!

Question: i just cut a vein in my ankle about an hour ago. the blood wont stop. ive tried everything from huge bandages to gauze pads. my ankle bleeds right thru them. im starting to feel a little bit dizzy and idk how to stop the blood. i told my parents they should take me to a doctor but they insisted that id be fine if i kept the bandages wrapped around my foot. is there any type of medicine or material that will stop the bleeding? and is this deadly at all? because my parents refuse to take me to a doctor.

You will need stitches. Blood goes through your veins, you as a just normal person can't stop it from bleeding. If you lost i think 1/4th of all your blood you are K.O.'d. So tell your parents you could actualy be hospitalized if you do not stop it from bleeding.

Good luck!

Get to a hospital, now! You need stitches.

yes it is, you need to apply pressure to the are and put a little ice right above it to slow the veins circulation

it's easy, all you need is a rubber hose(preferably) or any other sort of long rope, even a t-shirt can do, and a pen.

Tie the rubber hose at the top of your thigh, then double-knot it; stick the pen in between the two knots and begin to turn. At first it's probably going to hurt, but after a few minutes, you'll be able to feel the blood stop running. This will stop the bleeding, but preferably you want to leave the pen tight in place overnight.

Oh my god don't listen to the instructions on a tourniquet - you will lose your leg! (the rubber hose above)

You need to see a doctor right a way, your parents are nuts.
