Answers: It REALLY annoys me!

If you have a sore ear and don't go to the doctor it will wake you up.

For me it is because I need a wee......

the fox's in the back field they make a scary sound .

I got a nightmare!

Mine was the feeling that I was dying.

scary things in the dark , or your bladder is full,

for me its
the man upstairs snoring
the man upstairs peeing
the girlfriend of the man upstairs moaning and screaming!!!!
the wardrobes upstairs being slammed shut
the man upstairs coming in drunk and singing at 2 am
the washing machine next door hitting the spin cycle at 2am

Luckily i am moving flat next month

Your spelling. Too? Use the word 'to'. Your word means like- 'You too?'

For me it's my husband he has a torn tendon in his shoulder and finds it hard to sleep he thinks it's only fair if he's up i should be up he often brings me a brew at stupid o clock in the night

Lots of things....
Worry
Need to go to the loo
Too hot
Too light
Partner snoring etc; etc; etc

needing the toilet, a weird/bad dream, a strange noise, in my case the snoring from across the hallway(yes it really is that loud) a huge lorry going past, loud noise, the oh so annoying dripping tap

My husband fidgets like crazy, he does my bl**dy head in, tossing and turning and then he wakes me up..... He also watches telly while really late and I have to get up in the mornings....... I hope he's reading this.

I only awake during a general erection.

Post me a mail if you are interested in setting up a study group.

I have done much analysis into my sleeping patterns. My conclusions regarding middle of the night awakenings, are inconclusive.

I have come to the opinion that when we age, our sleeping patterns do not get better, they get worse.

Alcohol and caffeine both have a negative effect on sleeping patterns. Caffeine seems to prevent sleep, and alcohol can cause middle of the night awakenings even on nights when you do not drink.

It can be noise, which disturbs, and it can be an uncomfortable bed.

Some websites reckon it is to do with snoring, and sleep apnoea. I know myself that when I awake it is sometimes when I am lying on my back, and not on my side.

If you sleep with another, it is easy to blame them for what is causing the sleep disturbation. However, in reality I tend to sleep better when I am not on my own.

So, in the main, I would say there are many factors.

What appears to be certain, is that as we age sleep deteriorates.

From the age of 30 onwards it is a downhill struggle to get a good nights sleep.

I am lucky. My sleep has improved due to my analysis. However, it is not perfect.

I have lost a lot of weight, cut down on alcohol, stopped smoking, cut out caffeine, moved away from noisy roads, kept the room at the right temperature, changed mattresses, etc. etc.

People you come into contact with can infect you with bad vibes. Stay away from people for a while. You're sleep will improve.

If u r married , go ahead
If bladder is filled , avoid diking late in evenings.
