Bumps on neck??!
Question: i've had bumps on either side of my neck in different locations, they haven't really grown but have been there for the past month or so. i went to the doctors a couple weeks ago, they gave me a strep throat test but passed it off as swollen lymph nodes.. and they never called me so i would assume the strep results were negative. i've also been having trouble swallowing, a lot of pressure on the back of my neck, and sometimes my whole neck hurts..
any idea what this could be? i'm going to go visit the doctor again in a couple days just wondering if anyone had any opinions/ideas what it could be.

There can be about 57 reasons if the lymph nodes are swollen. I can let you read about them at this site listed below.
If your doctor has not called to say it is strept it doesnt mean it wasnt strept or mono. They see lots of people and the test doesnt take that long to perform they should have been able to tell you there. Call them and ask.

It sounds like it could be mono but I hope its not because that was the worst thing I ever went through.
STEP TEST TAKES ABOUT 5 MIN. SO HE KNEW IT WAS NEGATIVE BEFORE YOU LEFT THE OFFICE.SOUNDS LIKE YOU MIGHT WANT TO ASK ABOUT YOUR THYROID GLAND.HE COULD DRAW BLOOD TO CHECK IT,OR AN M.R.I.KEEP THE DR. ON THIS DON'T LET IT GO ,GET A SECOND OPINION IF YOU NEED TOO.
