Pain in abdominal area after playing volleyball?!

Question: I haven't played volleyball in two years. But, last Friday i played for 2 hours and my upper abdominal area hurts everytime I jump. Should I see a doctor? It's been one week now and it still hurts when i jump.

More then likely, you pulled an upper ab muscle. Do some light stretching (hands above head, etc.) and make the muscle pull slightly, but not to pain. Do any kind of stretching that will "pull" the muscle slightly. Do this for about 10 mins. Then ice the area of concern. According to your age, the muscles will get better. The older you are, the longer the process will take. At this point, there is no need to see a doctor, but I wouldn't do any jumping. That will only aggravate the situation.
