How do you know if your pelvis is slightly misaligned?!

Question: I got onto a rowing machine at the gym almost three weeks ago, when I got on the person using it before me had left the handlebar up, and when I was trying to reach it, the person rowing to my left gave me a sudden hard push forward without saying anything on the middle of the left side of my back and I felt about two crackles to the left of my lower back, but no pain at the time. Yesterday I noticed my left knee feeling weird at the bottom while walking and today is also feels weird even while sitting. How do I know if something has been misaligned with those crackles? Does it make sense that it would? I've included a picture here just basically pointing out where I felt the crackles (kind of felt like joints crackling). I've ask my teachers at college and they said they think it was either a ligament passing over a ligament or muscle tearing. I would think if it was muscle tearing or ligament actually snapping I would of had pain. http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/6327/75...

The area that you described in the image is the Sacroiliac (SI) joint. If that joint is out of alignment then the only way to know is to have a qualified healthcare professional examine you. You could go to a chiropractor or manual physical therapist. I would recommend the physical therapist more b/c they are better able to show you exercises to strengthen the muscles around that area to help keep it in place in the future.

Stand up straight with bare feet on a solid flooring. Close your eyes and relax. Feel your body posture, any misalignment's or imbalances will generate a discomfort signal. May take a minute or two so be prepared to wait. Once you have a signal focus on it, a 3D color picture of what's wrong will appear. For more details read http://www.helium.com/tm/148271
