I think I might have a hernia?!

Question: It does not hurt but when I touch it, it grosses me out. I am an athletic girl but am currently in no sports. Used to be in softball, cross country, and basketball.
I have weights and conditioning class but do no major heavy lifting.
I've had this for quite a while. But like I said no it does not hurt. It is located here http://i159.photobucket.com/albums/t124/...
What could it be?

It could very well be an inguinal hernia. Not a big problem, and easy to fix. You will need to go see a doctor to confirm that's what it is, though- and the sooner you have it done the better it will be. It's repaired as a day surgery, usually done in the morning and you get to go home that afternoon. You will have to lay off the physical activity for about 6 weeks, while it all heals properly- but after that you are repaired and good to go. You don't want to wait until it's bigger or gets painful, as the repair is a lot harder and worse to recover from then. It's not always caused by lifting- it's just a weak spot on the abdominal muscle wall that finally had enough and gave. Honestly, not a major problem, and really easy to repair. Just go see the doctor.

Women do get inquinal hernias through the Canal of Nuck .This is pretty easy to correct.
