Can I change the pair of earrings I'm wearing if I just got them pierced two!

Question: I just got a second piercing in my ear lobe two weeks ago; can I change the earrings to a different pair? I was told not to change them for six weeks, but I see no reason why not if I sterilize the new pair, and the new pair is posts rather than loops or something.

Hey,

Your better off leaving them for 6-8weeks to give them a while to heal because is you put a cheap metal earing in you could get a nasty infection and they really hurt! Leave them 4 a while longer!

:D

Depends what the person who pierced your ear said but if your confident you wont react to the metal or hurt your ear I suppose a gold would be ok. Just be careful and gentle

Don;t change them Do what was recommended. The ear has to heal before any change can be made. Six week wait is the way to go.

The piecing could close up or get infected. It is only 4 more weeks to wait.
