Non Cardio related chest pain.?!

Question: Hi! For a little while now I have been suffering chest pains in the centre left of my chest, cardio was ruled out by a cardiologist, have had a normal bllod result also. Doctors have put it down to muslce/tissue. I have found I need to crack my upper back alot which sometimes improves the pain in my chest. I have had no serious incidents or accidents to the area but the pain came on suddenly one night in bed, its was a cool night, I had a light single shirt on, and when I tried t roll over the pain in my chest felt like a ripping stabbing pain in the centre, thus taking me to a cardiologist in ER. The pain went away when I clicked it back out, but returned in 2 days just as bad so I couldn't move well. It is now a pain that I cannot locate (I feel a pain, so I touch the area but cant find a spot that says ouch), but is not constant but always feels like a burning pain sometimes a stabbing pain always in the left leading up to the collarbone.
Does this sound like a muscular injury

Sorry that you are in so much pain! It is possible that you are experiencing what is called 'Costochondritis' or in simple terms, inflammation of the chest wall. I have had it a few times and it is *very* painful! It was so bad in one incidence where i went to the ER, and tho I was glad that it wasn't cardiac in nature all the same that pain was extremely hard to bear. If you are still having this pain, I suggest that you mention it to your doctor as he or she can provide you with a muscle relaxant or some non-narcotic pain relief. Both will help with the pain. You can read more about this using this link:

Hope this helps!

ive had similar pains like that before...i dont really know what it is. i havent' gone to see a doctor about it so you're one step a head of me. hopefully it is just muscular. feel better

Does sound like you need to see a chirporactor as you are getting pain and feeling the need to "crack yourself back into place" A chirporactor will be able to do this effectively and thus locating the exact place that is causing the pain, sometimes it can be referred pain from a misplaced verterbrae. I would highly recommend finding a good chiropractor to sort this out asap.
