Am I losing hearing?!

Question: I'm 17, and in class today the teacher played 19.5 Hertz. I couldn't hear it, but most of the class could. She said I have damaged my ears and I can't hear that high anymore of frequencies...

Most of the times it feels like my ears are full or heavy.. Like full of wax or something. Am I losing my hearing or is this wax buildup?

What? I cant hear you! lol just kidding.. I couldnt resist...

Anyway try cleaning out your ears man, if that doesn't help go to a doctor and see what this is... Do you go to rock concerts or listen to loud music in your car or from an ipod? This could damage you ear drums which the first thing to go is the high pitched tones. Not to worry you are not alone, many people suffer from this loss (including me) and it doesnt affect me too much.

Go to the Dr. they can clean your ears and go from there.

ok u probly need to put a drop of peroxide in you ear each night and take an eartube and clean it each morning and see what happends

Your doctor can clean your ears out. If the feeling doesn't go away, then you may want to get a referral to an Ear, Nose, & Throat doctor, or something.
