It's not necessarily so that taking pain medicines on an empty stomach will cause an ulcer. It can, but it may never do that. All people are different in the way that they react to medicines. It could be that the acid in your stomach is just reacting differently to the medicines and this is causing your stomach to hurt. It will go away, but next time, take a bite of something or drink a glass of milk.

It won't hurt forever but the pills are agitating your stomache. If you continue to do that, you'll end up getting a hole in your stomache called an ulcer.

Eat some bread or crackers, that should stop the pain.

u must eat before u take pain killer cause it upsets ur stomach i think that would help because u have to activate ur acids in ur stomach

DO NOT TAKE PAIN PILLS ON AN EMPTY STOMACH. You must have food in your stomach prior to taking pain pills.

No, you just got a stomack ache from it. No harm done. Antibiotics to the same thing. Take a couple tums and get a snack in there and I'm sure you'll be fine in no time.

That is why on the meds it says, TAKE WITH FOOD!! Just eat something quick like yogurt. That'll coat your stomach. You'll probably never do that again!

It's an acidic reaction. Take some Tums or eat plain toast & rice

no it won't hurt forever. just a little while.

Drink a little milk and eat a cracker and you will be fine. Take them with at least some milk and you'll have no problems

I take them every single day for chronic pain
