Joint pain...what's wrong?!

Question: Thanks for reading!

Here's a bit of background: I'm 18, not very active but I do jog/exercise a few times a week. I have a fine bone structure if that matters.

Over the last few months I've been having continual pain/discomfort in one of these places at a time: knee, ankle, foot (mostly on my left side). I don't know why, because I haven't injured myself that I know of. The pain is only noticeable when I'm putting weight on it. It's mild, but annoying, and I limp sometimes. I'm confused as to why it shifts around, and never goes away.

Does anyone know why this is happening?

The foot bone's connected to the ankle bone. The ankle bone's connected to the shin bone. The shin bone's connected to the knee bone. The knee bone's connected to the leg bone. The leg bone's connected to the hip bone...

That's why it shifts.

The question is what's causing it in the first place. It could be a problem in any one of those joints that just affects them all (find the problem, fix it and everything's cool) or it could be a problem with all your joints at once (much more serious).

Without more posted information, the best advice is to talk to your family doctor.

See an orthopedic doctor.
