Put ice on the finger (or a frozen bag of peas) until the swelling goes down. Lucky that you aren't allergic; you would not have been able to report to us if you were, and that would be sad. I am allergic, wear tags to tell people, and have an antidote near me at all times. I still garden and am around the bees, but try not to be aggressive toward them. We tolerate each other, I guess.

You will have swelling, and some pain. Take a Tylenol if the pain is bad, but after using the ice, you should be fine.

I agree. Ice it 15 minutes at a time every few hours for the first day (may stop after healed). Be sure the stinger is out. It's okay to use Benadryl cream or hydrocortisone cream or even caladryl cream, whatever you have at home to take down the itching sensation. Take some Tylenol if the pain is bad. And yes, before you know it, you won't even know you were stung.
