Mosquito bite with pain in BOTH arms??!

Question: I got bite by a mosquito, I know it was this because I killed it immediatly after. It was a very large one and it has blown up. Most of my bites get larger than most peoples but this one is bad. It is on the side of my elbow and red and puffy. This happened 2 nights ago and this morning I woke up with pain (like the pain you would have if you did heavy lifting) on both arms, right at the spot where you would check your heartbeat or get blood taken. It really aches and I didn't lift anything.. could the mosquito bite be related??

You should get this checked out. Mosquitoes cannot transmit any disease from a human to human. Humans are considered deadend hosts, meaning we cannot give a mosquito diseases we have in our body (like AIDS, West Nile, etc.) What probable happened is when you killed the mosquito it was still in your skin and it injected its guts and other mosquito juices into your skin causing a reaction of some sort. Mosquitoes will take blood meals from various animals likes squirrels and chipmunks (disease carriers) to birds (West Nile carriers). Get it checked out, but all the doctors will give you is antibiotics because they won't know exactly what is causing the pain.

either you are allergic to the mosquito itself or the contents the mosquito injected into you whether it be the stuff it originally ahd or the stuff the mosquito gathered from other people... most definatley you should get this checked out...

I'd definately get it checked out. I know it's Saturday, do you have an urgent care clinic that might be open? In the mean time you can put benedryl gel on it and maybe take a benedryl capsule.
I don't do well with mosquito bites either, they usually turn into half dollar sized welts and itch like crazy then feel like a bruise a day or two later but I've never had pain like you describe. These suckers can carry all sorts of disease, really, get it checked.
