Why did it happen?!

Question: OK this morning i had some ready break about 10.30 then i went to the gym for an induction at 1.15, ive been to the gym before a nd i was fine. But today whilst i was having my induction she showed me how to use the stuff and she had me on the tredmill for 4 minutes i didnt break a sweat, then i went on the cross trainer for about the same time n still never broke a sweat.
Then i went on the stepper, this was much harder and i felt it burning but i still felt fine i was on this for 3 minutes, and when i got off i felt ill and dizy i thought i would be ok and she showed me how to use the weights but it went worse and i felt like i was going to be sick.
Ive felt this before when i did too much in pe at school but im not like really unfit i walk lots of places.
Is it because i never ate much or because im not used to it because i had a baby 3 months ago.
This is the first time i went the gym and i feel embarased now and i dont want it to happen again.

it seems like you had hypoglycemia (low blood glucose)/ dehydration. Make sure you get enough calories before and after exercise and drink plenty of water before, during, and after.

Stop exercising immediately when feeling dizzy or nauseated.

If you have time, take a look at the pdf link below.

Good luck!

sounds like low blood sugar

how are we sopposed to know i like points!

Maybe it happened because it's your first time in the gym as you said.

you HAVE TO eat or this will happen again. Your body had no fuel. Good luck

You should eat a proper diet.Go to the doc and have a stress test done.

Uh probably your body has to get used to it. I don't like the sound of going to the gym for an induction. Sounds like I'd be dizzy too.

You probably were pushing yourself hard on the stair stepper which is because you like me probably felt that it was too easy when in reality it takes a lot of power and I can only go on it for about 5 minutes and take a 2 minute power walk and then finnaly I will be able to go further.

you might be dehydrate. make sure your drinking lots of water, when working, but dont drink too much. just take a bottle with ya. did you stretch before working, it's important that you do, you can do more damage to your body if you don't.

You just did too much. You have to take it easy (slow and not much weight) and if you start to feel dizzy or something stop at once. And, off course, eat well.

Maybe because you hadn't eaten much, maybe because you were dehydrated and needed to drink more, maybe because you gave birth 3 months ago. Could be any of these; could be the combination of all of them.

Go easy. The #1 mistake people make in the gym is overtraining. You'll get fitter faster if you don't rush.

Your body has been through a MASSIVE trauma - carrying and bearing a baby. It takes more than 3 months to get right.

You just need to heed warning that maybe what you thought was not too much was a bit more than you are ready for.

Try a more subtle increase in walking/walking speed and do abouy 30 mins workiung upto 3 times a week with day ff between.

The try getting back at about 6 months...I reckon you just jumped back in too soon...

YTour bady is still raging with hormons and the need to produce and provide food for baby (I HOPE you are breastfeeding!)

So give yourself a break -- and start the regime after the hormone tsunami subsides a bit...

Don't try to follow the example of any idiot celebs who ruintheir body and health for the sakes of a few photos and 'diet plan' bucks.
