How do i treat my burnt hand? 10 points best answer?!

Question: A couple of days ago i burnt my hand(backside of 3 fingers) with stream. I got 3 blisters-one finger was just completly blistered from the middle up.
The skin from the blisters peeled of and now im letf with 3 areas of veryvery raw skin. The skin is very watery and in one of the blisters new small blisters have appeared.
I know i should dress the wounds put i don't have anything to this with. I have tape(its like tape on plasters but without the dressing part) but thats about all i have. I can't go round to the pharmacy becuase theres not one close and i can't drive.
What should i do?
Any help appretiated!
Thanks

Ok....rinse the fingers in water, pat gently dry. Use toilet tissue, because it is soft and absorbant, make a dressing or wrap out of sheets of tissue, and tape it around the fingers with any household tape you have on hand. Masking tape, transparent tape, heck, electrical tape if that's all you have. Tape is tape and this is an emergency. If you have petroleum jelly in the house, it is wonderful for burns. Facial cold cream like Noxema is great for this, works on severe sunburn as well. Coat fingers in Vaseline (petroleum jelly) or Noxema if you have it, then wrap gently in tissue or gauze, and tape down. Make a simple ice pack using any plastic bag, a clean damp, not wet, wash cloth, and some ice. Fold washcloth in half put a few ice cubes or small chunks into the cloth and fold over again, place in baggy. Put ice pack right over your gauze /tissue bandaged fingers for cool relief. Sorry for your pain. Clear or yellow liquid discharge from blisters is normal and may soak into the tissue, just keep changing your dressing on your fingers every few hours and you should be fine in a few days, at that point, airing the burn out is the best thing. (remove bandages, coat with ointment only)
Kiddo, if you get a steam or cooking burn in the future, immediately do the following, and yes, this will hurt, but it works....rinse the burn immediately in warm tap water, hurts like hell, but it spreads the heat of the burn out and you will notice that in most cases you will not blister at all.

You need professional burn care. Go to a burn clinic or hospital.

Honey, it has an anti-infection property. Look it up and see.

It sounds to me like you have a second degree burn. You need to keep the burn clean. An infection will cause a lot more pain and likely cause other problems.

In a nutshell: Don't use the plastering type tape, it'll only increase your risk of infection. You want to keep the blisters that have not broken, unbroken until they break on their own. That is a sterile bandage. Trim the peeling skin back to allow for better healing. You really need to get something like Silvadene cream and keep it in the refrigerator. It's a prescription burn cream with an antibiotic. You really need this to keep from getting an infection. If you can find some First Aid cream or Bactine Spray, I would use it if your circumstances are as bad as you say they are. Apply 1-2 times/d. Dress the burns with gauze and Kerlix. Keep your hands elevated to keep the swellling down. Advil as directed for pain. Very gentle cleanses with a mild soap and cool water.
Staph, Strep, and MRSA infections are bad news and quite serious. Those infections are becoming more and more common and are quite difficult to treat. See a doctor before you land in the hospital and have to IV antibiotics.

It works!

Keep it clean. Dab it with luke warm salty water and pat dry gently then put antiseptic cream on it. Try not to mess with it and don't wash it too much. If it doesn't start to get better in a day or two try going to your pharmacist before you go back to the doctor.

I swear by aloe vera gel. Definitely worth keeping a tube in the fridge as it will numb the pain of a burn almost immediately and also prevents scarring. Although your burn is older, I reckon it would still help. What ever you do though, don't pop the blister, you will leave yourself more open to infection and the skin underneath won't heal as quickly.

Hope it gets better soon!

you should ask your GP or doctor or any medical pro is ther any thing i can put on my fingers.they will sort it out

The good news is you do not need a pharmacy. The best you can do is to gently wash the area with antibacterial soap. This will reduce the chance of infection.

Do not scrub you may be able to save the skin and get out with less scarring.

Next get the heat out this will reduce the pain and speed the process. Soak in CLEAN cold water after 10 minutes allow it to dry then do it again refreshing the with cold water.

DO NOT APPLY ICE your skin may stick to it.
Remeber to have everything as clean as possible you are prone to infection with open burns.

The long term is to keep it clean dry and cool. Do not coat with any creams or ointments as it will seal and prevent healing.
