Is it normal to feel dizzy when you stand up?!

Question: For a little over a year, I've been feeling dizzy when I stand up - especially if I'm getting out of a hot bath or something of that sort. I used to get dizzy even just walking around. I feel unsteady and like the room is darker than usual and fuzzy. The sensation usually lasts between three and eight seconds. A year ago, I would have to stop and hold onto a wall or something. Now, I've taught myself to fake being fine and focus on one thing that I can see until I feel okay again.

It doesn't happen very often - usually only once a day, when I'm getting out of a hot bath. Why is this, and is this normal?

Oh that's low blood pressure. It's worse when you take a bath because you're lying down and your blood vessels dilate, reducing it even more. It can be dangerous if your blood pressure gets too low, so you need to get this checked by a doctor. It's normal to feel like that once in a while if you get up suddenly.. but it's not normal to have those symptoms everyday as badly as you describe them. Do yourself a favor and go tell your doc you have low blood pressure and you wanna know why, before you faint and hurt yourself.

It's not normal. You need to see a doctor. It could be a lot of differnt things

Heart
Ears
Blood pressure
Go find out!!!

idk about the hot bath, but i know when you stand up and you get a bit dizzy it'z because you have low blood sugar.

thats a sign of a blood pressure problem--

your blood pressure changes drastically when you change positions causing dizziness

You should definitely see a doctor.

sounds like your blood pressure, definitely get that checked out by a doctor
