How can i stop this pain??!
Question: sorry to people who have read any questions ive posted asking advice about my hand...im just concerned about it.
I got 2nd degree burns(from stream) on 3 of my fingers and now(2days on) the blisters have popped and im left with raw skin where it was. It looks like the tops of my fingers have just been skinned...its horrible!
Anyway now they are so sore...one of my fingers has swollen a little and is throbing. The skin is really tight and its getting hard to bend my fingers.
Ive taken co-codomol tablets(i think its just paracetomal with codeine) but they ae still very painfull.
If i dont hold my hand up high its even worse and my fingers feel as though they will explode.
none of them look infected though so i dont think thats the cause of pain.
Please help ?!

you must take proper care of your finger seriously.simple paracetamol will not relieve your pain.you should take NSAIDs with anti-ulcerent like PPIs. and you must keep your wound clean and dressing with anti-septic solutions like povidone iodine is must unless it will be infected and you may suffer more even chance of loss of functioning fingers. contact with your GP and take oral anti-biotics like cephradine and ensur dressing daily. if you follow my advise it will take just 7-10 days to heal with full function of your hand and finger. don't get scared and don't take it as a simple matter. Last one thing....wht's your age? are you diabetic? if you are diabetic then you must take propmt action against your would and diabetis.wish you best of luck
