Do i have step throat?!
Question: because it hurts to swallow.
ive been to the doc 3 times in 4 months for my throat.
the first time i had it for 3 months straight.it wouldnt go away even with the ibropufen meds my pedratritian gave me.
then the pain went away by itself.
and since friday it came back.it hurts like to swallow.and my glands that are on my jaw(on tthe bottom i guess)arnt swollen as much as last time.and my throat is sooo freaking dry!!i drink like a kajillion gallons of water,and it stays dry!!its been like that since yesterday.do you think this time that i go to my doc shell give me a referal to go to the other doc to see if i need my tonsils removed?because they look kinda whiteish yelow ish fatish ish lol.

Sore throat, trouble swallowing, swollen and discolored tonsils? Sounds a lot like tonsillitis to me. You need to get to a doctor as soon as you can so they can figure out the cause (virus or bacteria) and treat it.
Nowadays doctors usually don't like to remove tonsils unless they have chronic problems or if the swelling gets so bad you can't breathe.

it could by tonsilitous. i have that my tonsils get swollen like once every month and i can't swollow or breath and it makes me life horrible. anti bodics don't work for tonsilitous
you also could have an abses, which is like an infection behind one or both of your tonsils.
i suggest getting them removed

Aw it sounds like you do have strep throat.
Idont know if u have to get the tonsils removed,
but id definitely talk to a doctor about it, and tell her those things.
She'll know what to do
FOR now; since you said hot drinks make you feel better,
this will rlly help.
Mix up some HOT water with alot of salt, and gargle with it. Leave it in for like a minute gargle with it then spit it out. do this till the glass is gone. It helped me alottt
