Suppositories?!

Question: my husband bought himself some glycerin suppositories for his consitpation, and a friend of mine, who is rather blonde, saw it grabbed one up and swallowed it. is this dangerous? theres no poison warning on the package, just wondering if anyones heard of any dangerous side affects, or if these even will work this way.

LOLL...I'm laughing because I have a funny story related to this very subject. my ex who is from Pakistan was having some problems. i told his friend what to pick up from the store and I thought he had bought pills. Well later that night my ex calls and tells me he was at work, but going to take what mike had bought and hoped it worked. I waited for him to come back to the phone and he tells me "boy that stuff was so waxy and my tongue feels funny and burns a little." I asked him to read the name off the box and here it was suppositories. Oh my goodness he was scared to death he would die. i told him to calm down everything would be OK. As it turned out...no harm was done except some embarrassment. so your friend will be OK..lol. may just feel a little nauseated, but that's about it.
