Definitely do not go back to smoking. You should be happy that you've held your ground now for 7 months. That's excellent. Deal with your anxiety by channeling it elsewhere. If you feel like your about to light up, go for a walk instead or a drive. Treat yourself to an ice cream or something to divert your senses. It's okay for the anxiety to be there, that's normal. It will eventually diminish but in the short term, you have to work on finding creative ways to divert it. Go figure out all the money you've saved by not smoking and then use it to buy yourself something good. Good luck!

See your doctor and let them know. There are probably several things (counseling, medication, etc.) to get you over the immediate short-term hurdle. You may have used smoking to deal with anxiety before - now you need to find a healthier way to manage it. Maybe physical activity, yoga, meditation, gardening, whatever works for you.

You might be suffering from some sort of anxiety disorder, or some other psychological issue that is not smoke-related. I would consult with a psychologist if I were you.

I quit smoking 6 months ago, and still crave it sometimes, and haven't felt ANY change in my health. But, that doesn't mean I should start back up. I KNOW I have other issues that need resolution.

its good that you've stopped smoking and i hope you wont start again!

you can do something like a hobby to take your minds off the smoking craving.

if its not from smoking craving, you can do exercises or yoga or going to a spa or just listen to the music and dance, anything you like to do, for some relaxation.
