Question: how is the best way to sleep in the daytime? got my room dark, got white noise and airconditioner when warm. on normal basis I take half of klonapin, don't want to go to a whole one. I worked 3rd several years ago. wasn't having insomnia to start with when I started the job then on third. don't know if it's going to work out

Our bodies are not designed to sleep during the day, instead of the night time. When we try and sleep during the day, we're basically fighting the Circadian Rhythm; aka nature.

I used to work mids, and NEVER got used to it.

Some people can do it, some can't.
I have absoultely no problems sleeping during the day, but I have never been a day person, always a night person.
You should have to stay up as LATE as you can, and eventually you will start to sleep during the day.

i used to work 7pm-7am for years and actually ended up liking it due to the ample time off. i did sleep a lot less on workdays - maybe from 10am-3pm but it was always a good sleep. i guess it depends on how loud it is where you live. i also tried to get out as soon as i woke to work out or do something active.

i guess just try to figure out a schedule that works for you as long as you can get enough sleep to perform you job. good luck

There's a link on Sleep Help below.

you;ll get used to it if you need the money
