If the neck pulls or strains a muscle, does it grow back stronger after it heals!
Question: If the neck pulls or strains a muscle, does it grow back stronger after it heals ?
Like how when you break a bone, they say it grows back stronger. That might be true, because I broke my ring finger by accidentally hitting my knuckle too hard. Now it's solid !
This is just a thought, I don't know the answer, so it's why I'm asking.
How weight lifting leaves the body real sore, then it heals ... will the cramp in my neck heal even though it's a bad cramp, and then be less likely to happen again ?

That is a great question DJ, first when you work out the stress on the muscles result in micro-tears which the body heals relatively easily, and increases the strength of the muscle. However, if you strain a muscle through trauma it can "over stretch" which tends to heal but does not necessarily 100%, or it can completely tear which has no way of healing. If you tear a muscle it is torn and the body does not have a method to heal this large scale tear. This is why it is important to have good technique and control while weightlifting, a great activity can go wrong if people are not careful. The answer to your question is yes, if you are in the first group I described of controlled exercise. Hope this helps.
