Question: How do you clear up Athletes foot!?
My husbands had athlete's foot for a few months now!. It's not really bad but we can't seem to clear it up!. Before he goes to the doctors I wanted to know if anyone has tried anything that works really good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are several over the counter anti fungal creams that will do the trick if applied as the box says!. Also, have him change his socks at least once a day!. You know put a clean pair on in the AM then in the afternoon change them again!. Also, make sure he is washing his toes good and getting them really dry!. Athletes foot (the fungus) loves warm moist environments!. get athletes foot spray and spray the inside of his shoes too to kill the fungus!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Thletes foot can be simply treated with an anti-fungal cream like Lotrimin-AF (clotrimazole) or Lamisil-AT!. They are both over the counter and don't need prescription!. Clotrimazole is very effective when used twice a day for 2 weeks!. If the fungal infection has spread from between the toes to under the nails then you will need a prescription for a tablet called Lamisil!. By the way Fungus lives in damp, warm, and dark areas!. So keep the feet bare (Don't wear socks as much as you can, especially at home)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
