Just got my first pair of glasses -- quick questions about it?!

Question: Just got my first pair of glasses -- quick questions about it!?
is it normal to feel disoriented when first wearing them!? Coordination is harder, like typing or reaching for door handles, etc!. I also feel like they're mini-telescopes, seems like they zoom in really far and then semi-curve around the outside edges!. Is all of this normal!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It will get better!.

It's quite normal as your eyes have to begin readjusting to normal!. They have been working overtime for awhile and are still trying to do the job they used to have to do, of making adjustment so you could see!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah, you'll get used to them pretty fast!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You'll get used to it over time, you just need to give your eyes time to adjust to the new ways that light are reaching them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes, it may take awhile for your eyes to adjust to them!. I even know of people who have felt nausiated from a new pair of glasses!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your first pair is bound to feel odd!. You get used to the feeling if you wear them more often!. I'm not so sure about the cordination, but it depends what kind of glasses you are wearing and how strong your prescription is!. Same with the telescope feeling!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You will adjust I had to get bifocals last yr and now Ic annot take them off for much of anythingWww@Answer-Health@Com

yes! this is normal!. espcially if you have never wore glasses before, and they are bifocals!. try looking down to the bottom of your glasses for reading or going down steps!. this will help!. when you're driving or looking outward--look through the top!. this should get comortable after a while!. if not;, then go back to your opthmologist and tell him/her!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
