Motrin is a type of ibuprofen!. Ibuprofen is an anti-inflammitory so it helps with inflammation and pain!. When something hurts ( your back for example) it gets inflammed and irritated!. You take motrin and the inflammation goes down and so does the pain!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
