Hey I am on medicare due to being disabled and you might want to check with CMS about low impact programs that medicare pays for in your area!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Exercises are very important to keep that shoulder mobile!. If you have a heated pool, or can get access to one, doing the exercises there will reduce the amount of pain that it causes and the heat will be good for it too!. Good Luck! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Pain is never a good sign!. Talk to your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are bone on bone in your shoulder that is more than likely a rotator cuff tear, or one in the making!. If you are going to work your shoulder at all I would limit to below the chest, no lifting above your head!.
That said, after watching my boyfriend just suffer through 2 rotator cuff repairs, I recommend that you cease until you can get a MRI!. X Rays won't show rotator cuff injuries because they do not detect soft tissue injuries!.
Don't push your self, if it painful apart from the norm of working out, steer clear!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No! I work in physical therapy at one of the top rated V!.A!. facilities in the west; directly with one of the best Physical Therapists there!. NEVER work into pain of the type you are describing!. Find the range just below the pain thresh hold and work only within that thresh hold where there is no pain!. The saying 'No pain, no gain", refers to muscle fatigue pain, it does NOT refer to actual pain!.

Also (and this is very important), consult or get evaluated by a Physical Therapist!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Never ignore pain, That is the bodies way of letting you know something is wrong, consult a doctor, maybe he can recommend a different exercises to get the same resultsWww@Answer-Health@Com

Then you should not continue to do anything that aggravates it until you've been checked out and cleared to do so by your dr!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Bone on bone is going to be painful no matter what!. Moving it only degenerates the joint!. If you have an acceptable range of movement, and are able to sleep, then you just need to protect the joint from painful movement!. If you are unable to sleep due to the pain, a shoulder replacement could be indicated!. Even with a shoulder replacement, there will always be a certain amount of low level pain, and limited range of motion; you will not be able to handle any weight loading on the joint!.

What you want to be sure to do is to try prevent further arthritic degeneration of other joints!.

I used to wake up in the morning and feel a sharp pain like a knife going through the middle of my right foot when I started to walk!. Soon I began to feel it more frequently!. I added some cushioning to my shoe, and consulted with an orthopedic doctor that found my foot x-ray normal, thank goodness, but the pain persisted!. I also found that one of my knees got stiff and sore whenever I sat at the computer for very long!.

About six months later a friend told me had been told that a persistent pain in his back required surgery, but that after taking a new nutritional product for three months, his back pain had diminished to the point that he felt normal again!. So I decided to try it for my foot pain!.

Three months after starting to take the supplements, the pain in my foot went away!. My knee no longer ached after using the computer!. My shoulder no longer ached after playing racquet sports!.

I was amazed to experience this feeling of being young again!.

Email me if you would like particulars!.

Dear Chuck,
In my opinion you suffring from OA(Osteoatrhitis) Shoulder!.
Arthritis of the shoulder (the ball-and-socket joint) is an uncommon problem!. In almost every case, the shoulder has been injured months or years earlier, leading to an abnormal wearing down of the cartilage!. Injuries include bony fracture, dislocation, or heavy blow to the outer shoulder!.
Fortunately, arthritis of the shoulder progresses slowly!. Treatment focuses on reducing inflammation, physical therapy stretching exercises to preserve motion, and avoidance of activities to prevent further wear and arthritic flare-ups!.
